Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute

Students at accredited universities in Canada and India may apply for a Shastri Research Student Fellowship if they are pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in research. The goal of the fellowship is to provide financial assistance to students so that they may take advantage of opportunities like online research, courses, and internships. Award amounts range from $500 to $1,000 CAD and may be used over the course of 8-12 weeks. Students must have attended a school that is either a member of the Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute or an institution that operates under the Shastri umbrella for at least six months (one semester) in order to be considered.

Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan

Students of exceptional intelligence from Commonwealth nations who are applying to Master's and Doctoral degree programmes are singled out through this programme. The package includes airfare, a monthly stipend, and tuition. Graduate Students Exploring Canada (GSEP) grants to cover travel, accommodation, and certain other costs for 5–6 months in Canada to a maximum of $10,000.

Ontario Graduate Scholarship Program

Master's and doctoral students may apply for this government-funded grant, which is based on merit. Each student receives $5,000 CAD every semester (renewable for a total of $12,000). Ontario Trillium Scholarship

Students pursuing their doctorate in Ontario may apply for a provincial government scholarship based on their academic performance. Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships

Funding is available via the Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships programme for the top postdoctoral candidates from across the world who will make significant contributions to the development of the Canadian economy, society, and scientific knowledge. The goal of the Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships programme is to cultivate the leadership potential of promising young scientists and prepare them to take on more responsible roles in the field of research.

Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships

The Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (Vanier CGS) were established to recruit top-tier PhD candidates and solidify Canada's position as a research and education powerhouse on the international stage. These awards are for graduate study in Canada leading to a PhD (or MA/Ph.D. or MD/Ph.D.). This three-year scholarship is worth a total of $150,000.

Anne Vallee Ecological Fund

Master's and doctoral students in Animal Research Studies are eligible for two separate private scholarships. A total of $1,500 CAD will be awarded as part of the scholarship. Students in relevant fields of animal research, such as forestry, fisheries, or agriculture are eligible to apply. To qualify for this award, students must be enrolled full-time at a university in either British Columbia or Quebec.

Trudeau Scholarships and Fellowships

International students attending approved Canadian universities for their doctoral studies may apply for Trudeau Scholarships and Fellowships. The scholarship grants a total of $90,000 over the course of three years ($40,000 annually plus $20,000 annually for research and travel expenses). Carleton Prestige Scholarships

The Chancellor's Scholarship, the Richard Lewar Entrance Scholarship, the Carleton University Scholarship of Excellence, the Carleton University SHAD Scholarship, the Jay Woo and CAA Scholarship, the Riordon Scholarship, and the Collins Prestige Scholarship are just a few of the Prestige Scholarships available at Carleton University. Students joining Carleton straight from high school or a CEGEP are eligible for these awards. Students must have an admissions average of 90% or better and provide evidence of participation in extracurricular activities at their secondary school or in the community to be considered. Students who have already attended college are not eligible for these grants.

IDRC Research Awards

Students focusing their research on climate-resilient food systems, inclusive governance, education and science, global health, or sustainable inclusive economies are eligible for IDRC Research Awards. The range of the reward is between $42,033 and $48,659. Preference will be given to those who have already earned a Master's degree. In addition, they need to obtain a full-time work permit and be enrolled at a Canadian institution.

Dick Martin Scholarship Award

In 2002, the CCOHS Council of Governors created the Dick Martin Scholarship Fund to honour Martin as a pioneer in the Canadian movement to improve occupational health and safety. Scholarship recipients must be enrolled full-time in an approved occupational health and safety programme at a post-secondary institution in Canada. Students must submit an essay between 1,000 and 1,200 words in length, as well as a cover letter and an online application form. The award is open to both full-time and part-time students.

Hani Zeini Scholarship

This award is given to college freshmen majoring in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance at an accredited university.

Humber International Entrance Scholarships

Beginning foreign undergraduates from outside the United States or Canada may receive full or half-renewable tuition scholarships to attend Humber. Ten new foreign students, both undergraduate and graduate, will each get a CAD $2,000 grant, and two will receive a full tuition waiver. Students who are awarded a scholarship will have their college costs covered. Scholarships at Humber are renewable contingent on the recipient maintaining a 75% GPA each year of their programme.
