Germany offers free education at the undergraduate and PhD level at all public universities. There are only some nominal administrative and application charges. Besides, there are a number of excellent scholarships that you can apply for.

Most of the Nordic countries in Europe are quite affordable for overseas education. But Norway is one of the most alluring destinations for studying abroad not only because of its excellent standards of education, but also because of the fact that the education in the country is free for everyone, whether you are from within or outside the EU, at public universities, with the exception of a few specialized programs.

Like we said, most Nordic countries offer highly affordable education. And while Sweden offers free education at undergraduate and postgraduate level to European nationals only, the doctorate courses are taught free of cost in the country. In fact, doctoral students also get a stipend which can not only cover your expenses, but can help you make some savings too.

Austria is a stunningly beautiful country. And what makes it even more desirable is the fact that it offers highly affordable education. European nationals are taught free of cost, and non-European students have to pay a very nominal tuition fees.

  1. Italy

While education is not completely free in Italy, but the cost of a study in Italy is pretty low. Also, the cost of living in Italy is also comparatively low. The total estimated yearly cost for an undergraduate bachelor degree program in Italy comes to around €900 to €4,000 in a public university, and €6,000 to €20,000 in a private university. For a Master’s degree, it is €1,100 – €2,000 in a public university, and €8,000- €35,000 in a private university.
